RIIOHS204A WORK SAFELY AT HEIGHTS

 

Course Overview

This course covers the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights.

 

This learning package is intended for use by those completing the Competency Unit RIIOHS204A – Work Safely at Heights as part of Civil Construction training.

The competency unit Work Safely At Heights deals with the knowledge and skills required to work safely at heights in resources and infrastructure industries and so includes specific details on:


• regulations and safe work procedures;
• identifying the work requirements and instructions for the task;
• accessing and installing equipment;
• performing work at heights;
• cleaning up the work area.

 

This package has been designed to be delivered face to face and includes:


• demonstrations of practical skills by your instructor or experienced tradesperson;
• planned and supervised practical application of your knowledge and skills;
• instruction in, and application of, safe working practices.

 

When you have achieved all the Assessment Criteria in the Assessment Task and your work has been checked and certified by your instructor, you will have successfully completed the elements which make up competency unit RIIOHS204A – Work Safely at Heights.

 

Entry Requirements

No previous requirements are needed, however participants will need to have basic literacy/numeracy skills.

 

Delivery

All training and assessment is conducted at our “One Stop Training Shop” located at 219 Forestry Road, Landsborough, however, courses can be conducted at the client's premises provided the training room facilities are suitable. 

 

Duration

This course is held over one (1) day and includes face to face training and theory assessment.

 

Fees and Charges

The Course fee of $250 is payable at commencement of the course.

 

Refund Policy

The Refund Policy confirms that refunds are provided as appropriate within an acceptable time frame.

 

Units of Competency

This course covers one (1) Unit of Competency:  RIIOHS204A – Work Safely at Heights.

Licensing Regulations
