TAA40104 - Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
TAA Cert IV is a high level qualification which will qualify successful candidates to train within any Vocational Education Environment. It is significantly broader than the old Train the Trainer or Trainer and Assessor BSZ qualifications which mainly focused on group training delivery using standardized course materials.
Course is aimed at people who have an active involvement in workplace training and assessing including:
- design of training programs,
- assessing organization training opportunities and needs,
- delivery of competency based training and assessment of competencies of staff against National criteria
Learners must have a high level of literacy, and will be competent in use of computers and internet based research
Successful completion of course will require learners to provide evidence of the application of training and assessment skills in the workplace. (Where a potential student is uncertain in this regard, further clarification can be provided if we have some understanding of their workplace roles (now or previous) and underlying skills).
