Course Overview

This course covers the skills and knowledge required to enter and work in confined spaces.

 

This learning package is intended for use by those completing the Competency Unit RIIOHS202A - Enter and Work in Confined Space as part of Civil Construction training.

 

The competency unit Enter and Work in Confined Space deals with the knowledge and skills required to enter and work in confined spaces and so includes specific details on:

 

- Regulations and safe work procedures

- Analysing and monitoring hazardous atmospheres

- Entering and working in confined spaces

- Rescue procedures

- Recording work in confined sapces

 

When you have acheived all the Assessment Criteria in the Assessment Task and your work has been checked and certified by your instructor, you will have successfully completed the elements which make up competency unit RIIOHS202A - Enter and Work In Confined Spaces.

 

 

Entry Requirements

No previous requirements are needed, however participants will need to have basic literacy/numeracy skills.

 

Delivery

All training and assessment is conducted at our "One Stop Training Shop" located at 219 Forestry Road, Landsborough, however, courses can be conducted at the client's premises provided the training rooms facilities are suitable.

 

Duration

This course is held over one (1) day and includes face to face training and theory assessment.

 

Fees and Charges

The course fee of $350 is payable at the commencement of the course.

 

Refund Policy

The Refund Policy confirms that refunds are provided as appropriate within an acceptable time frame.

 

Units of Competency

This course covers one (1) Unit of Competency: RIIOHS202A - Enter and Work in Confined Spaces.
