CPCCOHS1001A - Work Safely In The Construction Industry
Course Description
To provide new and existing building and construction industry participants with the introductory understanding and knowledge needed to commence or continue work in the building and construction industry.
It is a requirement of Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, that all persons accessing a building and construction work site must hold either a White Card or Blue Card. The White Card (construction) is a nationally recognised card and can be used anywhere within Australia. The White Card has replaced the old Blue Card (construction), however, holders of a Blue Card (construction) are not required to upgrade to a White Card as it is still recognised in Queensland.
Course Duration
The course takes approximately 4 hours and is held each Wednesday enrolment at 12:30pm with course commencing at 1:00pm at our "One Stop Training Shop" located at 219 Forestry Road, Landsborough. Bookings are necessary.
Course Requirements
A reasonable level of numeracy/literacy is required. A one on one verbal assessment can be conducted.
Fees & Charges
The Course Fee is $75.00 payable on commencement of the course.

Licensing Regulations
Upon successful completion of the unit, particpants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment and the White Card. White Card can be issued on the same day.
