Licencing Procedure
The following steps are taken before a person is issued with a Licence to operate equipment under the scopes of 30496QLD, 30494QLD and 30497QLD.
- Applicant undertakes the on-the-job training with signed log books and gives the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) all required information together with a Statutory Declaration that this information is 'true and correct'.
- Successfully completes the mandatory Challenge test - written and practical. All questions in the written assessment must be answered correctly to be deemed competent.
- Completes the relevant 'G' form (Application for a certificate to work in a prescribed occupation) with the Trainer/Assessor.
- The Trainer/Assessor then submits the above documents to the R.T.O. who, after checking that all the paperwork is correct, then issues a 'Statement of Attainment' to the applicant.
- The R.T.O. then submits the 'G' form together with a certified copy of the 'Statement of Attainment' and the relevant fee to Workplace Health & Safety Qld within 5 days of completion of the 'G' form.
- Once a receipt is issued for the fees paid to Workplace Health & Safety Qld, the applicant is certified competent and can then operate the machine he has been trained and assessed on. The applicant must have in their possession at all times, the 'Statement of Attainment' and a copy of the receipt for the WHSQ fees, whilst operating the equipment.
- The Licence is then issued by Workplace Health & Safety Qld, and may take up to 3 weeks to be processed.
Areas of training and accreditation that can be completed by Sun Coast Training & Accreditation are covered through-out this website in their respective pages. To register fill in the registration form attached on the Register page and either email or mail it to us. | |
